Deja Vu Text Adventure with 1 Hour Sprints

Deja Vu Text Adventure with 1 Hour Sprints

Ever since I was a kid, I've always had an interest in developing games. With the strong indie game development over the last few years, it's possible for anyone now to build and be successful with an indie game.

Now I don't have time for game development as my primary roles are Agile Training, Coaching as well as running a company. However, as an escape and a way to clear my mind, I'll spend a few hours in a weekend to do something new and different.

So spent a couple of hours and built a silly text-adventure game with Unity3d. Nothing to brag about but it's "playable". I developed the game in 1-hour sprints. I'd plan my hour, write down the tasks I want to perform. Then I'd do them and move them over in Trello. At the end of an hour, I'd review what I did and decide to continue or not. I had to set a timer after the second hours because it's easy to lose track of time. We all know 10 minutes in computer time is 30 minutes in real life.

Check it out if you like.
