Web Tools

Useful and interesting tools I use out on the web. From development to networking to just for fun

  • Web Page Test (Pingdom Tools) - Test Your Website - Load Time and more. - The Full Page Test loads a complete HTML page including all objects (images, CSS, JavaScripts, RSS, Flash and frames/iframes). It mimics the way a page is loaded in a web browser.
  • IntoDNS - Checks the health and configuration and provides DNS report and mail servers report.
  • Lorem Ipsum - Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. This tool generates content for you to paste into your mocked-up pages.
  • M-Lab - Use tools running on M-Lab to test your Internet connection. Test Speed, BitTorrent, Bandwidth, Diagnose, Traffic Shaping
  • reCaptcha for ASP.Net - The reCAPTCHA ASP.NET Library provides a simple way to place a CAPTCHA on your ASP.NET website, helping you stop bots from abusing your website.
  • Slopsbox - Slopsbox is your temporary mailbox, the e-mail address you use to register for random services. It's a long-finger up the butt to spammers who wants your real e-mail. Slopsbox™ is the inbox you don't care about.
  • Code Converter by Telerik - Convert VB to C# or C# to VB
  • WikiCommons - Open Source Icons by Subject - Collection of Open Source Icons for all types of uses.
  • Web Colors - List of Web Color Names and Hex values.
  • Stack Overflow - Stack Overflow is a collaboratively edited question and answer site for programmers – regardless of platform or language. It's 100% free
  • Kathy Kam 101 Format Strings - Stuff like {0,-8:G2} passed in as a format string. What exactly does that do?

Other FredMastro Sites

Other sites that I've made for myself or are about me in someway.

  • Original Movie List - List of movies I have but it's not all up-to-date since I switched systems. But it's a good list of 600 or so movies.
  • Mastro2 - 360 Vocie XBox Blog - My 360 automates blogging site on my events on the Xbox Live world.
  • My iWeb Site - Site I put together with Apple's iWeb. I wanted to play around and try it out. So it's just a place to play.
